Design procedure for CDs

• selection of two schools, organising teaching practice, and presentation of the PEC-project for mentor science teachers in December 2005
• establishment of criteria’s for the design of didactic activities in April - May 2006 (ES/UK/SKPT)
• design of didactic activities including linguistic and scientific activities in May - September 2006 (ES/SK)
• design and preparation of two prototype CDs in all participating countries, focusing to scientific/linguistic activities, which are used in science teachers and mentor science teachers (teachers who are supervising teaching practice) course and in student science teachers courses in September 2006 – October 2008, as well as in future Science teacher education activities (UK/FI))
• designed two prototype CDs are presented and used in participating countries, especially in national and international courses of mentor teachers in February 2007 – May 2007 and in two week course/teaching practice organised for student teachers in October 2007 – May 2008 (ES/UK/FI)
• the prototype CDs are evaluated in mentor teachers’ courses and student teachers’ courses/teaching practice and in 7 th, 8 th and 9 th coordination meetings
• development of final CDs (UK/FI))
