Staalo is warming up by the fire (a game palyed outside ) Children sit down and choose one to become a" Staalo". The rest of the children stand chattered close around and they represent trees, which Staalo tries to knock down. If the trees does not fall down by pushing, Staalo fetches an axe. Meanwhile all the trees try to escape. When Staalo realizes that, it tries to catch them. The one whom Staalo catches becomes the new Staalo. In this game it´s also possible, for there to bet a hut where children can run and be rescued from Staalo. <- back
